On holiday, I read too! (En vacances, je lis aussi)

The French Ministry of Education (ministère de l'Éducation nationale) publishes a selection of books by age group before every school holiday. The lists relevant to our school cover ages 2–4, 4–6, 6–8 and 8–11, each available as a downloadable PDF.
Regular reading builds vocabulary and concentration, and the holidays are a good time to pick up (or pick up again) the habit. According to the CNL/Ipsos study of April 2024, young people spend an average of 3 hours 11 minutes per day in front of screens, compared with just 19 minutes reading.

This selection is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, not of the association. New lists are published before each school holiday period.
