Café papote: supporting your child at nursery school (école maternelle)

The Bordeaux education authority (académie de Bordeaux) is offering a series of discussion sessions on parenting at nursery school (école maternelle), led by Mr Landes and Ms Guillou, educational psychologists from the Éducation nationale (national education system). These sessions are aimed at parents of nursery school pupils in Bruges and Le Bouscat.
First session
The first session will take place on Wednesday 4 November 2026, from 9.45 am to 11 am, at the Pablo Picasso nursery school (école maternelle Pablo Picasso), 28 avenue de Verdun, Bruges — golden gate (portail doré).
This session does not take place at the Arc-en-Ciel school.
Register for the 4 November session — this registration link is only valid for the 4 November session. New links will be shared for subsequent sessions.
Following dates
Sessions continue on the first Wednesday of each month, alternating between Bruges and Le Bouscat:
- 2 December — Le Bouscat
- 6 January — Bruges
- 3 February — Le Bouscat
- 3 March — Bruges
- 7 April — Le Bouscat
- 5 May — Bruges
- 2 June — Le Bouscat
The exact venue for these sessions has not yet been confirmed. Details will be shared in due course.
Attendance is free, by registration only. This initiative is run by the Bordeaux education authority, not by the association.
